Online Workshop WG2: New approaches for identifying and analysing failures in PV

This is the event page for the fourth online PEARL PV workshop in a series of 6, which brings together researchers to discuss the next challenges in photovoltaic energy performance and reliability. The workshop complies with the meeting guidelines in the covid-19 situation.

This workshop was organized in the framework of WG2, by dr. Jeff Kettle, dr. Reza Aghaei and colleagues of WG2, on the topic of “New approaches for identifying and analysing failures in PV” on Tuesday 2 February 2021 from 9:00h till 12:30h CET.

In this online workshop, we enjoyed several presentations from world leading outstanding PV experts. The main aim of this workshop was to present the recent development and trends in lifetime prediction, degradation mechanism, failure identification, and analytical approaches for failure modes in PV systems, modules, and components, according to the following summary:
